I really wanted to write this blog to help real people eat paleo and live a healthier life!
Since I began researching and converting my diet from the conventional or “normal” North American diet to a Paleo lifestyle, I have literally transformed my body. I have lost over 50 pounds and more importantly no longer live with the daily pains associated with inflammation. I have had my eyes opened to a whole different and healthier way of eating.
Some of you may be thinking what is paleo? Well Paleo is simply changing our diet back to the way our ancestors or “cavemen” used to eat. The way our bodies were designed to eat. Which is why this diet is also referred to as the caveman diet…eating like hunters and gatherers, with a modern twist. Another way to think about it, is eating a diet full of really clean, healthy whole foods, and avoiding anything questionable.
We all change our eating habits for different reasons, if it is weight you want to lose, you will definitely do it with this nutrition plan. If it is not weight, but you just want to have more energy and feel better, this is also the diet for you. Do you have any physical ailments? IBS, Constipation, Joint Pain, Headaches, Fatigue, Colitis, Eczema? The paleo diet has been known to relieve symptoms of these health concerns. If there is anything that feels off about you lately, I urge you to try this just for a month and see if it helps.
